Rena Graham
Principal
I have worked in Whitfield County Schools for twenty years. I started my career at Antioch Elementary where I taught 4th and 5th grade for seven years. When I left the classroom, I became an instructional coach at Valley Point Middle for six years. In 2017, I began as an assistant principal at Valley Point Elementary for three years. In 2020, I moved to Pleasant Grove Elementary for two years as their AP. Beginning in 2022, I became the principal at Beaverdale Elementary!
I have been married to my husband for eighteen years. We have no kids unless you count our four dogs. I completed my doctorate in educational school improvement in February of 2023 and I now teach doctoral classes for the University of West Georgia. When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, attending concerts, loving on our dogs, and cooking new recipes.
I look forward to continuing to get to know the staff, students, and their families. Together we are going to do great things.
Please don’t ever hesitate to call, email, or come by the school. My door is always open and I am here to serve.
